Black Tea Country

Masai Black Tea grows on the bountiful Kenyan hills and is comprised of the carefully handpicked bud and first two leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant. The whole tea leaves are gently rolled and twisted immediately after withering to help in oxidation and fermentation processes. Oxidation refers to the browing of the tea leaves making it the most processed tea. Masai Black Tea contains antioxidants and polyphenols as well as compounds like flavonols, which are healthy for the body, as well as tannings that help improve body digestions and caffeine which increases mental alertness.
